Claudia is the epitome of the American success story; having immigrated from Brazil, worked her way through UCLA, & then launched a career as an independent financial planner.  Claudia is a founding board member of the WBCC, and helped establish the WBCC as a Presenting Level Sponsor.  Claudia was the 2008 recipient of the SBA minority-owned business of the year, is a First Step FastTrac® Instructor & has a history as a small business advocate, philanthropist & supporter of various nonprofits. 

An entrepreneur herself,  Gabriela has owned, operated, and launched several small business and entrepreneurial ventures, and has loyally served the WBCC as Director since April 2007.  A lawyer by profession, Gabriela's career as an entrepreneur began when she relocated from Mexico to San Diego.  After experiencing launching & running her own businesses first-hand, Gabriela got involved in the non-profit community in order to help others do the same & now counsels WBCC participants.  Gabriela is also 100% Spanish-English bilingual.
