Who Are Coalition Members? To be eligible to join The Coalition, an organization must be a non-profit and a resource provider for small business in San Diego County.

What does the Coalition Do?  The Coalition meets on a quarterly basis in order to make other members aware of the products and services they offer, keep one another up-to-date on new programs and services, and promote collaboration and partnering when applicable.

What are the fees to Join?  There are no fees or dues for membership in The Coalition.   The Coalition is jointly hosted and organized complementary by the WBCC and the Beyster Institute as a service to the community.

Membership requirements?  Members are required to have a representative attend quarterly meetings on a regular basis, not missing more than 1 of the 4 annual meetings, indicate Coalition membership on member's website and provide link to this page.

How does The Coalition benefit the community?  By creating stronger awareness of the programs and services available to small business, organizations can better serve their members, clients, or constituents by referring them to one another when applicable.  The Coalition also facilitates collaboration and partnering, strengthening individual events and programs.  In addition, The Coalition provides member organizations a free method of marketing and outreach.

The Beyster Institute helps business leaders build successful companies worldwide through training, education and outreach. The Institute serves entrepreneurs by teaching them how to be effective leaders and managers and showing them how employee ownership can be adapted to fit their individual companies. The Institute is part of the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego, serving as its key center for entrepreneurial thought and training activity.
